With what is slated to be their second-to-last pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings grabbed a small-school player that I believe we can charitably describe as “interesting.”
The Vikings selected Zach Davidson, a tight end from the University of Central Missouri, with the 168th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
I’m not going to pretend that I know anything about Zach Davidson outside of what I’ve seen in draft guides from around the internet. All I know is that the guy is 6’6”, 245 pounds, ran about a 4.6 in the 40-yard dash, and caught 15 touchdown passes last year while averaging 22.4 yards per catch. Oh, and he was an all-conference performer as a punter, too.
If any of you have any knowledge about Davidson, feel free to drop it here. For now, however, let’s hear your thoughts on the pick whether you know anything about him or not!
