Happy Wednesday, y’all!
Hey, it’s Wednesday, and even though it feels like this week has lasted a month already, we’re only at the half-way mark. I hope time starts moving at normal speed again, I’m ready to spend the weekend on the water. I hear the walleye are biting south of Bismarck, I plan to spend the weekend finding out if that’s true. If it’s not true, I’ll still be spending the weekend fishing, which is time well-spent.
Around the DN since our last open thread:
wludford has analysis of the entire Vikings draft class with Warren’s Minnesota Vikings Draft Pick Breakdowns.
........and he follows up that analysis by looking at the Vikings defense: fully armed and operational.
Chris asks you to call your shots with the Vikings 2021 schedule.
Other Vikings/NFL news and random oddities and annoyances:
From NFL.com, my man Teddy Bridgewater says that Denver presents ‘a unique opportunity for me to come in and compete and l lead’. I don’t give a damn where he’s playing, I will always root for that kid to succeed, he’s one of the good guys.
From FoxSports, here’s how to watch, listen, and follow the next production from the traveling circus 2021 NFL schedule release. You think Goodell has an intra-office production when he does his morning business in the bathroom? Probably with some juggling clowns & what-not. These guys have a production for EVERYTHING. Good grief.
Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Take the gender hatred elsewhere, it won’t be tolerated
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-If discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on, don’t forget to tip the cows, and settle in and join the party.
