The 2021 NFL schedule is set to be completely released in a little less than 12 hours, but we already have confirmation of who the Minnesota Vikings will be playing to get the season started.

According to their official team account, the Vikings will open the 2021 season on the road with a clash against Mike Zimmer’s former team, the Cincinnati Bengals.
This will be the second time that the Vikings and Bengals have gotten together during the Mike Zimmer era. The other matchup took place at U.S. Bank Stadium in December of 2017 and saw the Vikings rout the Bengals by a score of 34-7.
The Vikings’ last trip to Cincinnati? Not great. With Zimmer still controlling the Bengals’ defense from their sideline, Cincinnati thumped Minnesota back in December of 2013 to the tune of 42-14. A few weeks after that, Zimmer would accept the job to be the Vikings’ ninth head coach.
We’ll have the rest of the schedule when it comes out, and will attempt to keep you filled in on any verified leaks we might see throughout the course of the day. However, as it stands right now there is one game that appears to be officially set.
