It appears that the Minnesota Vikings are bringing a second player from their weekend mini-camp into the fold.
Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press is reporting that the team is set to sign offensive tackle Evin Ksiezarczyk, who was at the team’s mini-camp this weekend on a tryout basis.
Ksiezarczyk was an undrafted free agent in 2020 out of the University of Buffalo. He spent Training Camp in 2020 with the Atlanta Falcons, but was released and apparently not brought back to the practice squad or anything by the Falcons.
Ksiezarczyk was a First-Team All-Mid-American Conference performer for the Bulls in 2019. His deal could be done as early as Monday if he passes his physical.
With the signing of Kziezarczyk and the pending signing of cornerback Amari Henderson, the Vikings have now filled 86 of the 90 spots on the 90-man roster. They still have some room to add a few names, whether those names come via free agency or additional tryouts down the road.
