Minnesota Vikings News and Links: Friday May 21st, 2021

Good Morning!

Those of you who have been here a while know I work in healthcare, I was vaccinated for Covid in one of the first wave of vaccinations here in Florida back in January, I’ve been wearing two masks at work for the last year and a half and a mask when I go out in public. Everyone at my house is vaccinated except one of my kids, he’s getting his first Pfizer dose on Saturday. Pre-Covid mrs_rob and I went out to dinner on my week off, there’s a French place that is her favorite, once Covid hit we quit going out to dinner. We did take out from her favorite restaurant once but it wasn’t the same.

We have reservations tonight at Le Place du Fancy, for the first time in over a year and a half we’re going out to dinner and we’re stoked. I did call the restaurant, we have to wear a mask in and out of the place but not while we’re sitting...also the entire staff have been vaccinated (it’s on their website, I didn’t hack any computers to see if it’s true or not).

Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links open thread full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s weekend eve, time to plan the beer and meat menu for the weekend.
