Video: Vikings rookies take on Minnesota trivia

We’re to the point of the offseason where we need to look pretty deep for things to entertain ourselves with, and thankfully the Minnesota Vikings’ media folks are quite happy to help us out with that.

The team released a video today featuring some of the newest additions to the club taking on some trivia questions about the great state of Minnesota.

There were a number of the rookies that actually showed pretty well here, particularly first-round pick Christian Darrisaw. Some of the answers, however. . .not so much. Granted, the questions that were asked weren’t things that someone that had never been to Minnesota before would likely know off the top of their heads. They’ll have plenty of time to learn everything.

It’s nice to see things like this that show us a different side of some of these young players. They’ve spent most of the last three or four months being heavily scrutinized in the lead up to the NFL Draft, so this is an opportunity for them to relax and show a little personality. . .as well as some knowledge.
