just_rob is busy so I’ll be filling in this weekend. I haven’t posted an open thread in a while. I am still trying to wrap my head around the draft and all the new players. The long part of the offseason is starting. With limited in person activities, there won’t be much reporting until we get closer to the preseason. Schedule release is next week so we have that to look forward to.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Chris lets us know that we signed TE Zylstra from Minnesota State Mankato

wludford is projecting our 53-Man Roster

wludford gives the details of the Off-Season Schedule

wludford breaks down RB/KR Kene Nwangwu

Other Vikings/NFL news and random oddities and annoyances:

Vikings.com goes Behind the Scenes of Christian Darrisaw’s First Day as a Viking

Vikings.com also has an article about Shane Zylstra being Blessed & Excited to join the Vikings

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion

-No feeding of the trolls

-Take the gender hatred elsewhere, it won’t be tolerated

-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)

-If discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags

-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer

-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away

-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
