Monday Open Thread

Good Morning!

The big league news over the weekend was the trade by the Falcons to the Titans, Falcons got some draft picks and the Titans got Julio, who appears to fit in well with the offense and even though he’s been injured lately can still play at a top WR level. I didn’t look at The Falcoholic to see their reaction, but I did asked SB Nation Associate Director of Team Brands and Falcons fan Jeanna Kelly about her reaction, here’s what she had to say “purely cap reasons from their perspective—Dimitroff left them in such bad shape they couldn’t even sign their draft picks. He wanted out, I don’t think he wanted a head coach who focuses so much on the run game and didn’t really have a say.”

Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links open thread full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Monday, time to get back to work.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to wash your hands, tip your waiter well and Welcome Aboard!
