UPDATE: Pelissero is reporting that Jake Browning will get all of the reps for tonight’s practice, meaning that Nate Stanley will be the other Vikings’ quarterback that is not in attendance tonight.
I’m told Jake Browning is expected to get all the reps tonight at QB for Minnesota’s primetime practice on @nflnetwork https://t.co/bBRCpZ1IcM

Original story follows.
Tonight, the Minnesota Vikings will have a night practice at TCO Stadium in Eagan. Our own Eric Thompson is going to be there. . .which, as it stands right now, is more than we can say for some of the Vikings’ players.
The #Vikings are expected to be without three quarterbacks -- including starter Kirk Cousins -- for tonight's practice after rookie Kellen Mond tested positive for COVID-19, per league sources.

Cousins is a high-risk close contact. The team is going through contact tracing.
According to Close, Personal Friend of The Daily Norseman Tom Pelissero™, three of the Vikings’ quarterbacks will be out for tonight’s practice due to rookie Kellen Mond testing positive for COVID-19. Kirk Cousins has been identified as a close contact, so he would be the second quarterback that won’t be out there. There are only two other quarterbacks on the Vikings’ roster, so either Jake Browning or Nate Stanley isn’t going to be on the field tonight, either.
The team has released a statement about what has happened:
Due to the NFL-NFLPA COVID-19 protocols, multiple players will be held out of tonight’s practice inside TCO Stadium. We will share further updates as they become available in the coming days.
Well. . .that’s sufficiently vague.
Obviously, there has been no word yet on if any other players or position groups have been affected by this, but if we manage to find out any more news about what has happened we will do an update here.
