Good Morning!

I hope all of you had a fun filled long weekend, as detailed in the weekend thread I smoked a pork shoulder Saturday and cooked some deer on Sunday. I’m almost out of venison, deer season can’t get here quick enough. We’re in the middle of the boring time of the NFL year since the draft and mini-camp are over, not much will happen until training camp starts. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links open thread full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Tuesday, time to get back to work, even for me.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

ESPN suggests one last offseason move for the Vikings.

Vikings news from other sources:

From The Monday Morning Mailbag.

Lunchbreak: ESPN Ranks Vikings Roster Among NFL’s Top 10 Strongest.

League News:

The “Good Morning Football” crew highlights coaches that will reignite their teams in 2021.

2021 No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence signs rookie deal with Jaguars.

All eyes on Dolphins’ Tua Tagovailoa as QB enters pressure-packed Year 2 in Miami.

Tight end Delanie Walker believes ‘ankle will hold up,’ opportunity will come in training camp.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to wash your hands, try the tiger meat and Welcome Aboard!
