Merry Monday, everyone!
In the final practice game of the preseason, the Vikings didn’t get the W, which means zero. In the final practice game of the preseason, the mostly backup defense gave up yards to the Chiefs starting offense, which means very little. In the final practice game of the preseason, the Vikings starting quarterback looked horrible, which is concerning. In the final practice game of the preseason, the Vikings rookie quarterback continued to show improvment, which is encouraging. The Vikings have agreed to a four-year contract extension with Harrison Smith. This is great news for me, Harrison Smith has long been my favorite current Viking, and I’m glad to see that he’ll likely play his entire career here.
Irv Smith Jr. is to miss the start of the regular season following meniscus surgery. Hopefully he recovers quickly and can get back on the field soon.

The Vikings waived three players to start their roster cuts.
