He could still use some more development time

As a part of their final cuts on Tuesday, the Minnesota Vikings have parted ways with one of their 2020 draft picks that could still use some more time to develop.

The team will be waiving guard Kyle Hinton as a part of the final roster trimming, according to Darren Wolfson.

Hinton was the Vikings’ final pick of the 2020 NFL Draft and spent all of last season on the practice squad. As a player that went to a small school, Hinton likely needed some time to adjust to the speed of the NFL game, and seems to be someone that the Vikings might be interested in bringing back to the practice squad to allow him a bit more time to develop.

Teams will be able to set their practice squads starting on Wednesday, 1 September. We will see then if Hinton continues along with the purple.

We will be tracking all of the Vikings’ final roster cuts on our Roster Cut Tracker, which you can find right here.
