Friday Open Thread: August 6, 2021

Happy Friday, everyone!

Alright, so the QBs are back at practice, Cookus has been released, and..........well, that’s about it. Not much else happening at the moment, but the fun and excitement will be upon us soon enough.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

As mentioned above, Cousins and Stanley returned to Vikings practice, and Cookus was waived, Chris has the details.

Other Vikings/NFL news and random oddities and annoyances:

From FoxSports, Darrisaw is learning from O’Neill & Hunter as he eases back into practice.

From CBS Sports, the Raiders continue to lose front office personnel, the fourth key executive in the past 8 weeks has jumped ship.

Those of you with kiddos, have you watched this yet? This is.......something.
