We are approximately ninety minutes from kickoff in Arizona, and the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals have both released their inactive lists for this afternoon’s contest. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out for both sides, starting with the home team.
Minnesota Vikings
- LB Anthony Barr
- OT Christian Darrisaw
- DE Everson Griffen
- CB Harrison Hand
- DT James Lynch
- QB Kellen Mond
- LB Chazz Surratt
The Vikings declared four players as “out” before today’s game, so there aren’t a whole lot of surprises on their list for this afternoon. The good news is that Eric Kendricks is “up” and will resume his starting role in the middle after an injury scare earlier in the week.
And now, on to the home team.
Arizona Cardinals
- CB Luq Barcoo
- RB Eno Benjamin
- CB Tay Gowan
- LB Devon Kennard
- OL Josh Miles
- QB Chris Streveler
Kelvin Beachum, who is the starter at right tackle for the Cardinals, is active for them today. He was listed as questionable on their final injury report with a rib injury and was deemed a game-time decision, but he will be up for Arizona in this one.
Those are the inactive lists for the Vikings and the Cardinals heading into their Week 2 matchup. The Open Thread for the first quarter of play will be up at approximately 2:00 PM Central time.
