Merry Thorsday, everyone!

Alright, it’s Friday-eve, and we’re slowly creeping towards another wonderful weekend. I’m ultra-stoked, as we’re heading out for our family vacation tomorrow afternoon. I love Louisville, and I can’t wait to get there again, it’s gonna be a fun trip. Not a whole lot of Vikings news to talk about today, which is probably okay, we probably all needed time to catch our breath after that huge announcement yesterday that the Vikings moved Sean Mannion to the 53 man roster. For today, all we have is news that Harrison Hand either has the ‘Rona or was a close contact to someone who had it, I guess we’ll know more once we see how long he’s out. That’s all I got, y’all have at it in the comments, remember to be cool to one another, and SKOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Chris updates us on the initial injury reports for the Vikings and Seahawks.

As mentioned above, the Vikings placed Harrison Hand on the Reserve/Covid 19 list, Chris has the details.

Luft Krigare posted CTP’s In The Huddle - Vikings, Cardinals, Seahawks.

Other Vikings/NFL news and random oddities and annoyances:

Daniel Jones had many good things to say about Eli Manning, but not so much to share about the team’s slow start this year, per the Houston Chronicle. The Giants will be retiring Manning’s number 10 during halftime of the Giants/Falcons game. I’ve always been a huge fan of Eli Manning’s, I was living in Mississippi when he went to Ole Miss, and I’ve remained a fan as he went through the NFL. I know he has his detractors, but I’m not one of them. Congrats to Eli (and no, that’s not who I named my son after).

With a rash of injuries at RB, the 49ers are not ruling out a Frank Gore reunion, but they say it’s a little early for that, per Mercury News. I’m surprised they don’t have AD on the roster already.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip the cows, and try the lutefisk. Oh, and most importantly, Welcome Aboard!!!!!
