With less than a week away from teams getting their seasons started... I wanted to throw out a list of rookies I feel could have immediate success in 2021. Year 2 of doing a all rookie team forecast and it's always fun to see how well the young guns do for their new teams. Much of this list will go as chalk... the top picks in the draft seem to have that "NFL ready" look to them. A few surprises will also make the list. Opportunity/snaps/scheme will play a big part on a rookies success. With a solid draft in April, the Vikings get one player on the 2021 all rookie team.

Final 53 Roster Thoughts:
A few surprises as always with the roster decisions on cut-down day. Very encouraging with Darrisaw not being sent to IR to start the year. I think he will be ready to go by week 2 or 3. Bummer about Irv's injury... heal up soon young man !!
Moves during camp having Udoh winning the job at RG is outstanding !! The IOL is looking better than years past and I'm hoping Bradbury can improve his pass blocking. Maybe they start teaching Davis how to play the center position.
Perhaps the biggest surprise for me was Abdullah not making the team. Savvy vet on the PS squad so maybe they move him back up to start the season. Let's hope the RB room stays healthy and Nwangwu gets the chance to show off that incredible speed. Rose has ton's of potential and I'm stoked he is on the Vikings PS.
The d-line looks much improved and I'm glad they kept Lynch on the final 53. The coaches mentioned him doing well in practice and him making the roster is a vote of confidence on his hard work. Keeping 7 LB's was another big surprise for me on cut-down day. Barr might need a week or two before he is ready so I can see why they decided to keep 7.
Injury bug has been tough on the WR/TE room to say the least. Maybe they look to sign another F/A to help out. ISM looks to have won the KR job and looked pretty good during the preseason. I think he will work with JJ and AT on catching the ball better. More 3WR sets are probable. New TE Herndon has upside and I liked the trade.
The DB room looks much improved for 2021. It's a nice mix of vet experience and young players learning their craft. Looking forward to seeing how Bynum, Hand, and Dantzler improve having outstanding vets like Peterson and Harry leading the way.
**No polls/vote in the comments who you think will make the all rookie teams**
