You have questions, I have answers....a wrong answer is still an answer.
Good Morning!
Goodbye and good riddance to the preseason, it’s time to start the regular season where the points matter and the games count. This year’s edition of the Vikings is a mixed bag of veterans looking for a final contract, guys looking for their first big contract and another year of Covid protocols and “will he or won’t he miss a game.”
The Vikings play the Bengals in Cincinnati this week, right now the Vikings are favored on the road which is nice to have going for them. Do you think the Vikings get a road win and cover the spread? Right now (-3.5)
GA Skol did an excellent season win loss prediction article on Monday, although it’s hard to predict what’s going to happen how close do you think his prediction will be?
Cowboys RG Zack Martin tested positive for Covid and will miss the Thursday night opener against the Bucs, what are the chances the Vikings will have a key player miss a game?
The defense looks better on paper than whatever that was on the field last year, give me two key players besides Hunter and Kendricks that will be key to the defense this year.
The offensive line has a lot of new moving parts, can they get to the 11-20 range for pass protection this year?
TE Irv Smith was lost for the season due to injury which caused a minor meltdown here, last year he had 30 receptions for 365 yards and 5 touchdowns, does anything really think that level of production can’t be duplicated with a TE or WR3 currently on the roster?
If you’re on Twitter, and you have a question about the Vikings, the draft, fantasy football, or life in general, tweet us a question with #DailyNorsemanmail somewhere in the tweet or you can dm me on Twitter (Rob@DN1). If you do, please let me know what your username at The Daily Norseman is unless I already know it. You can also leave your question as a mention in either Twitter account.
Preferably, you can leave a comment in this post, I’ll revisit it later in the week.
If you’re like me and hate social media, drop me an email....dailynorsemanmail at gmail dot com (the period and @ is removed to prevent harvesting by bots).
My plan is to get this to get this pulled together in the next couple of days and have it ready to post Thursday morning or afternoon before the Bucs-Cowboys game.
