Welcome to Friday here at your favorite website devoted to the Minnesota Vikings! We’re getting closer to the purple returning to action on Sunday afternoon, and there was, apparently, a football game played last night. I guess it depends on who you ask.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

• Our friends from Climbing the Pocket attempt to figure out if the Vikings are contenders or pretenders.
• Matt has another look at Cameron Dantzler and his rise to (near) stardom in 2022.
• Mark has his weekly list of college players you should be keeping an eye on this weekend.
• Not a lot of changes on the second injury reports of the week.
