Well, folks, we’ve made it to Friday, and that means that we’ve almost made it through the Minnesota Vikings’ bye week. Hooray! Now we’ve just got a whole weekend of football ahead of us and we can get back into the swing of things covering our favorite football team.

Since the last time we brought you an Open Thread. . .

• Vikings Happy Hour is making it through the bye week, but they figured they’d check in with us anyway.
• Mark has his weekly look at which college players you should be keeping an eye on this weekend.
• The results from our SB Nation Reacts poll are in, and a lot of our readers expect the winning to continue when the team returns from the bye.

We’re nearly through Yachtober. . .next week is Steely Dan week, because Steely Dan rules.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
