“It’s Really Muddy”

Darren and Dave look at the end of spring training for your Minnesota Vikings and some storylines that came from it this week, including how Kirk Cousins describes the ability to read Ed Donatell’s defense, a Fangio derivative. Let’s get your SKOL on!

The Minnesota Vikings have completed mini camp and the team is heading for vacation. My guess is that the tee times will fill up quickly. That doesn’t stop Two Old Bloggers with Darren and Dave from discussing interesting Vikings storylines as we head towards training camp in a month and a half.

We are looking at exactly how much better Kirk Cousins can be in a Kevin O’Connell offense and under his tutelage again. Can KOC and Wes Phillips devise methods and schemes that unlock another level in Kirk’s play? Can there be a video game-type reward or bonus that will chime every time that he does? Then with the preseason schedule firmed up with dates and times, what will be O’Connell’s approach? The Rams barely if at all played their starters in the preseason last year. It turned out pretty successfully for them. Will Kevin do the same? Should he? We’ll wrap it up with some quick-hitting topics, like the tight ends, Dalvin Cook, Garret Bradbury eating like a teenager, and some roster churning. It should be fun!

Darren Campbell and David Stefano are the Two Old Bloggers. Both started their public commentary on the Vikings two decades ago on various blogs. They now do it via live streams on YouTube and Facebook. We appreciate your team fandom and that you take the time to enjoy it with us.

Here are the themes for the show:

Theme #1 - How much better can we expect Kirk Cousins to be in the Kevin O’Connell offense?

Theme #2: Vikings preseason - The O’Connell approach

Theme #3 - Quick hitters
