NFL: New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to another Minnesota Vikings game day, everybody! Today, the Vikings will be on in prime time as they’ll be facing off with the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football. We don’t want you to miss any of the action, whether you’re going to be watching on TV, listening on the radio, or streaming anywhere, so here’s everything you need to know for tonight’s contest.

Television Info

This game will be kicking off a bit later than we’re used to, with kickoff scheduled for 7:20 PM Central time on Sunday night. The game will be aired on NBC affiliates around the country, including KARE-11 in the Twin Cities, with Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth on the call. No need for a map this week, as the Vikings/Broncos contest will be the only game in town at that time.

For our men and women in uniform serving overseas, the American Forces Network will be showing this one LIVE. . .probably because they don’t have any other options. . .on AFN Sports. Kickoff is scheduled for 0100Z on Monday morning, so it’s either going to be a long night or an early morning for most of you. That start time translates to 0200L on Monday morning for everyone in Central Europe, 0400L on Monday morning for those on Arabian Time, and 1000L on Monday morning for fans in Japan and Korea.

Radio Info

If you have a Vikings Radio Network affiliate in your area, most of them will probably be carrying the game. We’ve provided you with the full list of affiliates for this season, so use our page to find the affiliate nearest to you.

For those of you who are going to use satellite radio to listen to this one, you can find the feed from the Vikings Radio Network on SiriusXM Channel 226. You can listen to the Broncos’ feed on Channel 225 if you feel compelled to do so for whatever reason. You can also get the national feed from Westwood One on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Channel 88, or listen to the game en español on Channel 227. If you’re using the SiriusXM app, the Vikings’ permanent home there is on Channel 820.

Referee Info

Football Zebras informs us that the officiating crew for tonight’s game is led by long-time officiating veteran Ron Torbert. The last time the Vikings saw Torbert’s crew was last December at Ford Field, where his crew handled the Vikings’ 34-23 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Weather Info

This game will be played in the elements, and according to our friends from WeatherNation, the weather could come into play in this one. There are forecast to be rain showers in the Denver area starting at around 6:00 PM local time and occurring on and off throughout the contest. Temperatures will be in the mid-40s with winds coming out of the north at around 10 miles/hour.

Betting Info

The DraftKings line hasn’t moved a whole lot this week, as the Broncos are still a 3-point favorite over the Vikings heading into tonight’s contest. The over/under for this one remains at 41 points as well.

Streaming Info

As mentioned previously, the NFL Sunday Ticket package is now on YouTube TV, which anyone can subscribe to to ensure that you have a legal stream to watch the game on. If you’re in the local broadcast area, services such as Fubo TV or Sling TV will also have the game streaming for you.

I’ll say the same thing about illegal streams that I always say: don’t. Or damn sure don’t go advertising them here. You’ll be banned and that will be the end of it.

Live Watch Party Info

There won’t be a post-game show from Vikings Report with Drew and Ted this week. . .because we’re going to be doing a live watch party during the game! We’ll be on air starting at around 6:45 PM Central and will be doing commentary on the game throughout the contest. Be sure to join us because the guys will be giving away an Anthony Barr jersey after the game finishes and you must be present to win.

That should be all of the information you need to follow along with the action from Denver between the Vikings and the Broncos, folks. We’ll have our first Open Thread of the afternoon dropping an hour before kickoff, right around 6:15 PM Central time and we’ll have an Open Thread for the rest of the NFL action today to tide everyone over until then.
