Three Keys
1) Take care of the football - The Vikings have done a decent job of curbing their turnover issues during their current five-game winning streak, and they’re facing a Broncos defense that has forced nine turnovers over the past two weeks. That means that Joshua Dobbs and company will have to take care of the football, particularly on what could be a bit of a wet track tonight in Denver.
2) Keep Russell Wilson off-balance - Wilson has had some pretty good games against the Vikings over the years and has had a bit of a renaissance this season under noted douchebag Sean Payton. Brian Flores’ defense has been doing a good job of mixing pressure and coverage and keeping opposing offenses off-balance and will need to keep that trend going tonight.
3) Fresh is best - Playing in the altitude in Denver is generally a problem for visiting players, and it will be incumbent on the Vikings’ coaches to keep the rotations working so that players don’t get worn out. The Broncos are a physical team and the Vikings are going to have to do whatever they can to keep pace, including getting more snaps for some guys that might not ordinarily get them. Hopefully those players will be up to the task.

That should be everything you need to get you up to date on today’s happenings, folks. We’ll have a brand new Open Thread at the start of every quarter, so keep your eyes out for those and keep the discussion moving along.
Hopefully we’ll all be meeting back here in about three hours to talk about another big win for the Vikings and then go to bed, because it’s gonna be a late night and we have to work tomorrow.
