We’ve made it through the first fifteen minutes of football at Mile High, and the Minnesota Vikings trail the Denver Broncos by a score of 3-0.

Here’s our LIVE watch party from Vikings Report with Drew and Ted. We hope you’re enjoying the show so far!

The Broncos won the coin toss and chose to defer to the second half, giving Joshua Dobbs and the Minnesota offense the football first. The Vikings quickly found themselves facing a 3rd-and-1 deep in their own territory, and they attempted a play that saw T.J. Hockenson take the snap and pitch it to Dobbs. . .who promptly fumbled the football for a Minnesota turnover and the Broncos taking over at the Minnesota 30. The Vikings’ defense held firm, though, and held the Broncos to a 31-yard field goal for Will Lutz to take an early 3-0 lead.

The Vikings crossed midfield on their next possession, but their drive stalled and the Vikings punted it away, with Ryan Wright’s punt going through the end zone for a touchback. The Vikings’ offense has moved the ball down the field, and as we move to the second quarter of play they’re looking at a 3rd-and-1 from the Denver 3-yard line.

We’ve made it through the first quarter of play in Denver, with the Vikings trailing the Broncos by a score of 3-0. Come on in and join us for the second quarter of play!
