It’s time to take a look at our SB Nation Reacts results for this week, folks. We had a pair of questions for you this week, so let’s take a look at what our readers had to say.
First off, we had our standard question about how confident everyone is in the direction of the Minnesota Vikings. Even though we had a slight drop from last week, things are still overwhelmingly positive.
Of our respondents, 82% of them said that they were confident about the direction that the team was going in. That’s down a little bit from the season-high of 92% that we had gotten the week before that but it’s still one of our highest totals of the year. Seeing a five-game win streak come to an end will bum some folks out, so the small drop isn’t surprising. Hopefully we’ll see things go back in the right direction in next week’s poll.
Second, we asked whether or not you thought the Vikings would bring back star wide receiver Justin Jefferson in time for Monday night’s game against the Chicago Bears, and we seem to have reached a pretty solid consensus on this one as well.
Only 28% of our readers think that the Vikings will bring the NFL’s best wide receiver back from injured reserve to play on Monday night. I think that all of the indications that the team has given to this point lean that way as well, but we could get a surprise. The Vikings have until Monday afternoon to officially make the decision on Jefferson’s status, and if they don’t bring him back for Monday’s game they’ll have to add him to the active roster by Wednesday to make sure he can play again this season.
Those are our SB Nation Reacts results for this week, folks. We’ll have more questions for you next week while the Vikings are on their bye.
