Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings: Interim injury reports

Let’s see what’s changed, shall we?

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Atlanta Falcons Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

It’s time to have a look at the second injury reports of the week for the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings ahead of their Sunday Night Football battle this week. As we saw yesterday, both teams had pretty extensive lists, so let’s see if there have been any changes for either side.

Green Bay Packers

Did Not Participate

  • LB De’Vondre Campbell (neck)
  • DT Tedarrel Slaton (knee/foot, downgrade from LP on Wednesday)
  • WR Christian Watson (hamstring)
  • WR Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle)

Limited Participation

  • RB A.J. Dillon (thumb)
  • G Elgton Jenkins (shoulder/knee, upgrade from DNP on Wednesday)
  • RB Aaron Jones (knee/finger)
  • TE Luke Musgrave (kidney)
  • DB Jonathan Owens (knee)
  • WR Jayden Reed (toe/chest)
  • CB Robert Rochell (neck)
  • S Darnell Savage (shoulder)
  • LB Quay Walker (shoulder)

Full Participation

  • LB Kingsley Engabare (toe, upgrade from LP on Wednesday)
  • OT Luke Tenuta (ankle)
  • RB Emanuel Wilson (shoulder)

Just a handful of changes for the Packers, the biggest of which is probably Jenkins, who was back on the practice field on Thursday after sitting out of Wednesday’s session. Still a couple of important DNPs for Green Bay and a bunch of key pieces that might end up being game-time decisions.

Minnesota Vikings

Did Not Participate

  • DB Theo Jackson (toe)
  • CB Byron Murphy (knee)
  • WR Jalen Nailor (concussion)
  • DT Jaquelin Roy (ankle)

Limited Participation

  • WR Jordan Addison (ankle, upgrade from DNP on Wednesday)
  • CB Mekhi Blackmon (shoulder/illness, upgrade from DNP on Wednesday)
  • DT Sheldon Day (ankle)
  • LB Troy Dye (wrist)
  • RB Alexander Mattison (ankle)

Full Participation

  • OT Brian O’Neill (ankle)
  • LB Ivan Pace Jr. (shoulder)
  • DT Harrison Phillips (back, upgrade from LP on Wednesday)

A few positives for the Vikings on today’s report, as both Addison and Blackmon are both back on the practice field today, albeit in a limited capacity. Still, that’s better than having them sit out and puts them, potentially, on track to play on Sunday night. Phillips being back to full participation is a welcome sign as well. Hopefully we can see some progress on a few more of these issues on Friday’s final report.

We’ll have those final reports on Friday when they drop, as well as more coverage of this week’s game as we get closer to kickoff.
