Just ahead of their Sunday Night Football clash with Green Bay, the Minnesota Vikings made a couple of moves to fill out the 53-man roster over the past couple of days.

The team had two open roster spots after they placed T.J. Hockenson and D.J. Wonnum on injured reserve, and they filled one of those spots by permanently putting Anthony Barr on the 53-man roster. Barr was on the practice squad and had been elevated for games previously, but now he’s definitely on the roster for the last two games.

The team then announced that linebacker Troy Dye had been placed on injured reserve. Dye was listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report with a wrist injury but now his season is over with. Unless the Vikings somehow find their way to the NFC Championship Game or something.

So, yeah, his season is over with.

With two open roster spots again, the team signed linebacker Nick Vigil and defensive lineman T.J. Smith to the active roster. Both players had been on the practice squad for most of the season and Vigil had been elevated for games earlier in the year. Now, both he and Smith are on the main roster through the end of the season.

The team has also announced that wide receiver Lucky Jackson and cornerback Jaylin Williams have been elevated from the practice squad to the main roster. Both of them were elevated from the practice squad ahead of last week’s game against Detroit as well.

Barring anything strange happening, those should be the final moves the Vikings make ahead of Sunday Night Football. If anything else changes, we’ll let you know about it as soon as we can.
