You know what time it is, folks. . .time to raise those four fingers way above your head, as we’re heading to the final quarter of football at U.S. Bank Stadium for 2023 with. . .you know what, don’t waste your energy. The Minnesota Vikings didn’t bother to show up tonight, trailing the Green Bay Packers 30-3 after three quarters of play.
The Vikings received the second half kickoff, and Kevin O’Connell went back to Nick Mullens at quarterback after Jaren Hall struggled in the first half. The Vikings put together a solid drive and found themselves facing 4th-and-4 from the Green Bay 9-yard line, but Mullens’ pass for Justin Jefferson in the end zone fell incomplete for a turnover on downs.
Then, the Green Bay offense marched right down the field again, as Jordan Love found a wide open Bo Melton in the end zone from 9 yards out to make it 30-3. Still ugly.
As we head to the fourth quarter, the Vikings have a 4th-and-2 from their own 25-yard line.
This one’s over, but you’re welcome to watch the conclusion with us anyway, as the Vikings trail the Packers after three quarters by a score of 30-3.
