Who will be sitting this one out?

We’re about an hour and a half away from the kickoff of Sunday Night Football at U.S. Bank Stadium, and the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers have released their inactive lists for tonight’s contest. Let’s look at who will be sitting this one out for both sides.

Green Bay Packers

  • LB De’Vondre Campbell
  • LB Brenton Cox Jr.
  • OT Caleb Jones
  • WR Christian Watson
  • WR Dontayvion Wicks

The Packers apparently have three players active that had been listed as doubtful on their final injury report: TE Luke Musgrave, OL Luke Tenuta, and RB Emanuel Wilson. I’m unsure if they made other transactions between Friday and now with any of those players, but none of them are on the inactive list for Green Bay going into this one.

Minnesota Vikings

  • OL Hakeem Adeniji
  • QB Josh Dobbs (emergency QB)
  • S Theo Jackson
  • CB Byron Murphy
  • WR Jalen Nailor
  • OL Chris Reed
  • DT Jaquelin Roy

Not a lot of surprises here, as Dobbs has been slated as the #3 quarterback for some time and the Vikings had already declared four players out (Jackson, Murphy, Nailor, and Roy) on their final injury report of the week. Brian O’Neill is back in the starting lineup tonight after missing two games with an ankle injury, and both Jordan Addison and Mekhi Blackmon are active tonight after being listed as questionable on the final injury report.

Those are the inactive lists for tonight’s game, folks. We’ll have the first Open Thread of the evening ready for business at around 6:15 PM Central time, and we hope to see a lot of folks there!
