I think most of us agree that letting Kendricks go was an easy business decision. With that said, he was one of the better linebackers we’ve had and it was a lot of fun to see him develop into that over the years. I was fortunate enough to meet him in person on one occasion and, besides being surprised at how decidedly not huge this man that makes his living in the chaos of the middle of a defense was (I met Munnerlyn once as well as he looked like he was cut from stone, Eric just had that look of an "every man" that made me really reevaluate my opinion on his toughness, you know book by its cover and all), I was also struck by just how normal, casual, and genuinely nice he was. The whole experience really elevated my opinion of the man behind the pads and all "business decisions" aside I wish him the best (except against us).
