It’s time for the results of our most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, where fans of the Minnesota Vikings can make their voices heard on various topics. Usually those topics directly involve the team in some way, but since the Vikings’ season came to an end last week we’ve had to branch out a little bit.
Our first question, as always, relates to how everyone feels about the direction of the team. And, now that the season is over, things are trending. . .upward?
As you can see, confidence did get a bit of a boost from the final week of the season, as 39% of our respondents now feel that the team is moving in the right direction. As always, we remind you that “the right direction” can mean different things to different people, but perhaps people are just happy that this season is finally over with.
We also asked who you think will win each conference and face off in this year’s Super Bowl. We’ll start with the NFC results.
Of the six choices we gave you. . .because we know none of you were going to pick Green Bay. . .only three teams managed to crack double digits in the polling. Not surprisingly, the top seed in the NFC is the favorite among our respondents, as the San Francisco 49ers picked up 42% of the voting. The Detroit Lions were just behind them at 35%, and the Los Angeles Rams. . .in a bit of a surprise. . .took the third spot with 11% of the vote.
On to the AFC!
The top seed in the AFC was also the favorite among our readers, though this polling was closer. The Baltimore Ravens check in with 29% of our vote this week, with the second seed in the conference, the Buffalo Bills, just behind them at 24%. In the third spot is another surprise, the Cleveland Browns, who picked up a full 20% of the vote from our readers in our poll.
Thank you to everyone that participated in our poll for this week, and we’ll continue these on over the weeks and months to come.
