Friday Open Thread: October 30, 2020

Merry Friday, everyone!

Man, time flies by. I haven’t even let go of summer yet, still clinging to hope that we’ll get a couple more nights warm enough for kiddo and I to camp in, but I look out and see snow on the ground and realize that summer is long gone and winter is arriving quickly. I do love the fall, especially the pheasant hunting, which has been fairly slow so far this year. It has been slow for me and the folks I’ve talked to around where I hunt, anyway.

As our son reminds us several hundred times a day, Halloween is approaching, and will actually be here tomorrow. I have a really cool costume idea, it’s a tandem outfit for my son and I. I’ll post pictures on Monday, you’ll get a chuckle out of it (unless you’re like my wife, always worrying about goofy things like me getting arrested or me causing emotional trauma to others or other such nonsense). It’ll be funny.

The Falcons beat the Panthers last night on Thursday Night Football, per NFL.com. Hey, we’re not the only team to be beaten by the Falcons this year! That’s.......something.....I guess.
